Best Dinner Deal

At the walking street market.... Chicken satay 20 baht and Pizza 80 baht for the kids. Larb mu tohd (fried spicy pork salad) 40 baht and Chiang mai spicy sausage 20 baht for me. Plus drinks 50 baht and all are happy as can be for the equivalent of 5.25 Eur! What a great dinner! And seriously, whoever misses out on larb mu tohd in Thailand has never pampered their taste buds! Yummy yummy yummy!

Minigolf and Frühlingsfest a la Ko Phangan

It was a bit hot but the kids loved it. We'll be back!
Then we went to Thongsala Fairground. The Ferriswheel was scarily rickety! And I loved the cooling system on the car ride. Just hang a cooling fan over it when the engine starts overheating!

Taking your piggies to market

We thought this was interesting on today's round of the island. The pigs seemed remarkably relaxed. Jonas' theory is they believe they're going on holiday....

Does this mean we are now fully acclimatised?

Just saw a 2 inch cockroach climb up the wall. Continued drinking my beer and just wondered which of the two geckos I could see would catch the cockroach. Four weeks ago I'd have run off screaming!

The sunset just gets better every evening

Two haircuts 300 baht (7.50 €)

Ready to go back to school!

They've been in the pool for 2 hours...

no end in sight. Should I get them out before they grow webbed feet?
The new challenge is handstands and lying flat on the bottom of the pool.

Another day in paradise

Breakfast at Haad Salad followed by snorkelling until even Jonas said he needed a water-free activity! So now elephant riding at MadueWhan Elephant Camp. Loads of mosquitos spoil the fun a little :-( And Emma was not really relaxed up there!

The day ended with another amazing sunset at Haad Gruad. The night skies are beautifully clear and full of twinkling stars. Emma wants to take pictures to show Kindergarten but after hundreds of tries they still don't come out :-(.
